Accu-Allergy10
The Accu-Allergy10 Advanced Biological Test for 10 common allergens.
The Accu-Allergy10 sample collection kit, sent to you at no cost, enables you to easily, in the convenience of your home,
to collect a sample and return it to us in the preaddressed mailer. The Accu-Allergy sample collection kit allows us to
quantitatively identify an individual’s allergic reaction to a specific range of the 10 most common allergens, covering about
90% of all human allergic reactions. The test provides, in about 10 days, the same clinical results without the high expense
(up to $1500 or more) of physicians' appointments and often painful procedures at a cost of $195.00.
Not Available in Canada
The importance of identifying specific allergens when possible is illustrated by the little known house dust mite. An 8
legged microscopic creature, present by the millions in all our homes, besides being a primary allergen, may be a factor in
50-80% of asthmatic conditions. A typical mattress will contain up to 10 million dust mites. Identifying this specific allergen
would allow an individual to mitigate causative factors in a non-pharmaceutical manner.

Sample Collection Procedure
The sample collection is easy to perform in the privacy of your home, and the kit contains detailed instructions. Using
our painless lancet, your finger tip is pricked, and a few drops of blood collected into the supplied mini-container. The sample
is sent to us in our preaddressed mailer, and your results are available in 10-14 days.
Principle of the Test
An allergy, or allergic reaction, is the result of an
individual’s overactive immune system, reacting to usually
harmless external substances. The substances that cause
allergic reactions are known as allergens. The body interprets
the specific allergen as a harmful invader and the immune
system reacts by forming antibodies to attack it. Individuals
with allergies produce a specific antibody type called
Immunoglobulin E, or IgE. When allergens first contact the body
of a person with allergies, allergen-specific IgE antibodies
are produced. Each type of IgE has a specific interlock code
for one type of allergen only. That is why some individuals are
allergic to cats and grass pollen only (they have only the IgE
antibodies specific to cat and grass pollen) and others seem to
be allergic to everything. Therefore, a person with antibodies
to a specific allergen is commonly referred to as being
“allergic” to that allergen. When a person with allergies comes
in contact with an allergen, his or her body will show symptoms
of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of tissues, sneezing,
wheezing, coughing, a runny nose, itchy eyes, and other
reactions. Depending on the overall health of the individual
and the presence of complicating health conditions like asthma,
allergic reactions can range from mild discomfort to life
threatening.

Conclusion: You have a very high probability of an allergic
reaction to Alternaria (Mold) and Milk. Consult your Physician
as needed.
Some allergiescan be extremely complex. The wheat allergy test that we perform is actually a gluten allergy test because gluten intolerance affects about 15% of the population.
This intolerance is linked to various genetic factors and Viaguard’s Allergy Test identifies the presence of linked antigen/antibodies.
The role of genetics in this type of intolerance is based on the simple fact that many of our igestive capabilities have genetically evolved over 2.5 million years but humans have only been consuming cultivated cereal crops for only about 10, 000 years.
How / When Allergies Develop
An individual’s vulnerability to allergies is dependent on multiple genetic and environmental factors.
A protei found in the cells of infants provides a significant clue as to the degree of future vulnerability an individual will have to certain allergies. The protein that provides the answer is called protein Kinase C zeta, and is found at low levels where there is a high probability of the development of a range of allergies.
The goodnews is that it appears that supplemental intake of omega-3 fish oils in the diet of the mother during gestation and any subsequent nursing period stimulateproduction of protein Kinase C zeta, sharply increasing the resistance of the newborn to the development of allergies which may persist through an entire lifetime.
